A dynamic opportunity exists for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Lynnwood, WA. This contract position during the current school year (CSY) focuses on delivering specialized speech and language therapy services that foster student communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students goals.
- Provide direct therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state reporting requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working as an SLP in K-12 school environments.
- Strong understanding of educational speech-language pathology practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with state and federal education regulations and compliance.
